    Abstract

Zane Bourisseau interviewed by Carla Woodcock of the Lake County Historical Society, August 17, 2011: Audio recording. Zane Bourisseau was the son of Frank Bourisseau, an assistant lightkeeper on South Fox Island from 1928 to 1937. Zane spent his summers on the island from age 6 to 15. The interview describes life on the island, as well as his recollections of the structures on the island and events, such as the assembly of the skeleton light tower transferred from Georgia to South Fox in 1934. Additional records relating to this oral history interview may be found at the Bentley Historical Libary in paper form.
