Hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell frequency by flow cytometry as a percentage of CD45 bone marrow cells in male and female Ctrl and HFD PN offspring. Hematopoietic stem cells (HSC), multipotent progenitor cells (MPP), Pre-Granulocyte Macrophage (Pre-GM), granulocyte monocyte precursors (GMP), Pre-Megakaryocyte-Erythroid Precursors (Pre-MegE) and erythroid precursors (Pre-CFUE). Analyses were Student’s t-test ang gating per Supplementary Figure 1., Supplementary Table 1. Differential gene expression between Ctrl and HFD PN male gonadal white adipose tissue (GWAT) from postnatal day 16. The significant gene expression differences were determined by the DESeq2 package for R Studio. Sequencing The RNA was extracted from adipose tissue using Trizol LS (Life Technologies) by Qiagen RNeasy Mini Kit (74106) according to the manual. The RNA was sent to the University of Michigan Advanced Genomics Core for RNA-sequencing. For RNAseq studies, gonadal white adipose tissue 3’ QuantSeq single-end poly-A mRNA libraries were generated (Lexogen). These were sequenced to a depth of 10-20M reads on Illumina NovaSeq platform. Data are available from GEO at accession number GSE227337., and Supplementary Table 2. Differentially expressed genes between Ctrl and HFD PN male gonadal white adipose tissue (GWAT) from postnatal day 16 that are significant after correction for false discovery rate were determined by the DESeq2 package for R Studio.

- Description:
- This dataset includes spectrally-resolved optical properties for volcanic ash particles from the 2010 Eyjafjallajökull volcanic eruptions. These properties were used in the climate simulations described by Flanner et al. (2014, doi:10.1002/2014JD021977) to quantify ash radiative forcing from the eruptions.

- Description:
- Our work seeks to better understand the financial risks to corporate operations as a basis for exploring alternative public-private investment strategies. We applied network analysis to model financial relationships within this sector and its connectedness to primary commodities transported on the Great Lakes. The financial network maps were used to quantitatively analyze the industry risk exposure using corporate financial metrics and to query the financial interdependencies of companies relative to the Great Lakes waterway. Results demonstrate that inventory turnover ratio is a robust proxy to quantify weighted financial risks of water dependency across the entire supply chain network. All data was manually collected from the Bloomberg Terminal and FactSet which are licensed by the University of Michigan. The SPLC module in the Terminal restricts data download and information must be captured manually. All data was collected from September-November 2018.

- Description:
- The study that produced this corpus was conducted by a joint Task Force on Career Progression charged by the Association of University Presses and Society for Scholarly Publishing in January 2022, and strengthened by the addition of the Association of Learned Professional and Scholarly Publishers in 2023. The goal of the Career Progression Task Force’s job classification project was to develop a dataset of job descriptions that identify typical skills and responsibilities associated with various roles in publishing, analysing these descriptions to elucidate the skills and qualifications needed for the jobs and career advancement and disseminate the results in a way that is useful to employers and employees alike. The work of the Task Force was made possible by the doctoral internship program at the University of Michigan's Rackham Graduate School, which supported the involvement of Michelle Lam and Lauretta Cheng. The project also involved master’s degree students at George Washington University and the University of Michigan. and In total, the corpus contained 1089 unique job description texts. A wide range/variety of positions (n=666) across functional areas were represented in the corpus. The majority of the texts came from publicly available job postings. This form of text is created to advertise positions and is typically neither as detailed nor as objective as internal position descriptions, which were contributed either individually or as a group from a particular publisher.

- Description:
- This data is part of a large program to translate detection and interpretation of HFOs into clinical use. A zip file is included which contains hfo detections, metadata, and Matlab scripts. The matlab scripts analyze this input data and produce figures as in the referenced paper (note: the blind source separation method is stochastic, and so the figures may not be exactly the same). A file "README.txt" provides more detail about each individual file within the zip file.
- Keyword:

- Description:
- This dataset contains all data used to generate the figures in The Cryosphere manuscript “Measuring Snow Specific Surface Area with 1.30 and 1.55 micro-meter Bidirectional Reflectance Factors,” by Adam Schneider, Mark Flanner, and Roger De Roo. These data support the theory, calibration, and application of the Near-Infrared Emitting and Reflectance Monitoring Dome (NERD), an instrument engineered to rapidly retrieve surface snow specific surface area in the field. Note that this deposit includes a microCT scan database for natural snowfall samples collected in New Hampshire during 2015-2017, comprised of raw tiff files as well as reconstructions, binarized reconstructions, and some 3D model reconstructions. and Running python scripts generally require that the following packages are installed: NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Pandas, and ipdb (for debugging).
