- Archives at the Institute for Fisheries Research (IFR) hold records of thousands of lake surveys from the University of Michigan and Michigan Department of Natural Resources. The records contained in this dataset are jpeg images of the index card records from the IFR surveys. Images include the front of the card and when available, the back of a card. and Justification Report Chemical Rehabilitation cards detail initial lake survey information and recommendations for potential removal of fish populations using chemical treatments in order to stock with desired fishes. The lake survey includes the percent of each species from the total community caught, temperature and oxygen profile data, bottom substrate information, alkalinity, Secchi disk depth, and water color. A summary of the findings and recommendations for the lake are on the back of the card. These card complement the CEVA and CTRE cards.
