  • The dataset contains one pdf document (Key to file Saginaw Bay data) that describes the analytical protocols for water quality measurements as well as the abbreviations and measurement units used in the water quality dataset. The water quality data are contained in the Excel file Saginaw Bay data. Data are organized in tabs by year according to Cruise, Date, Time (local time in 24-hour format), Station, Latitude, Longitude, maximum station depth (m), depth of sample collection (m), and the various analytes.

  • The information reported in this dataset was obtained through research grants from the Michigan Sea Grant Program. The research was undertaken to study trace metal limitation of algal growth in Saginaw Bay, Lake Huron from 1999 to 2003.
