    Abstract

    This interview with Don Staebler and farm tour was conducted on November 30, 2011. The Staebler family began farming in Superior Township in 1912. Staebler, 100 years old at the time of the interview, shares stories about what is was like growing up and making a living as a farmer in Michigan. The Staebler farm and land are now preserved as a Washtenaw County park.
