dc.description.abstract | This 1941 silent movie was written, cast, filmed, produced and directed by Melvin Schumaker of Superior Township, Michigan. The cast was composed of individuals from the Frains Lake Players group. Parts of the film takes place in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Dale Leslie has added narration to the film that provides context about the production and individual actors. Leslie's father, Dick Leslie, was an actor in the film. The actors were as follows: Helen Litke Hermanns (Genevieve), Gus Hansen (John Clark), Dick Leslie (Georg Books), Grace Conklin Patrick (Mother), Chester Martin (Father), and Joanne Galpin (daughter). | en_US |
