dc.description.abstract | Front-line healthcare providers including general practitioners have experienced a remarkable increase in clinical demands as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to possible cases of the virus itself, patients are presenting with exacerbated mental health and trauma concerns, while practitioners face under-resourced and over-burdened settings of practice. This report provides four feasible and trauma-informed suggestions that practitioners could put into place quickly, without unduly adding to their extant workload. | en_US |
