dc.description.abstractThrough painting and time-based media, L explores ways to memorialize loved ones who have passed, depicting a fluctuation of processes, time, and states of being. All this while grappling with significant social issues related to gun violence, race, and mortality, as well as one's positionality in America. The desired impact is to promote a more inclusive and ethical approach to grieving.
