MTS Manual is a series of volumes that describe in detail the facilities provided by the Michigan Terminal System. This volume describes the three PL/I language processors available in MTS: (1) the PL/I (F) compiler; (2) the PL/I Optimizing compiler; and (3) the PL/C compiler. The MTS version of the PL/I (F) compiler is derived from the IBM OS/360 F-level PL/I compiler (version 5).
