During the last twenty years there has been growing interest in numerical methods for calculating the wave loads on fixed structures and the oscillatory motions of vessels. An alternative to the frequency-domain approach is to formulate the problem directly in the time domain. The work presented here is the next step in the continuing development of the time-domain analysis method.en_US
