  • The searches were developed for a systematic review on naloxone distribution in emergency departments. The searches were run in Ovid MEDLINE, Ovid MEDLINE In-Process & Other Non-Indexed Citations, Ovid MEDLINE Epub Ahead of Print, Embase, CINAHL, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials. Duplicate citations were removed in Endnote X6.

  • The systematic review explores the role of the emergency department in naloxone distribution and harm reduction strategies associated with opioid use.
