- Description:
- The modern settlement of Kveda Bzvani is situated east of Vani within the foothills that line the Phasis River plain, approximately 2 km south of the main east-west road on the south edge of the Phasis River plain. The village is located in the Vani administrative district. We investigated a pair of hills oriented northwest southeast on the outskirts of the village. The boundary between Kveda (Lower) Bzvani and Zeda (Upper) Bzvani actually runs between these hills, but they are considered here as a unit. Local toponyms for this area are Natsikhvari and Chitoula (“Place of Birds”). A corn field on the western slope of the northwestern hill is dense with surface pottery (A047); on the top of the hill are the mortared masonry remains of what appears to have been a fortified complex on a series of terraces (A048); on the eastern slope is a rock-cut chamber that may have been used as a chapel (A049). The southeastern hill is now occupied by a church and modern cemetery, but ancient pottery is visible in many places on the top and sides of the hill (A050).

- Description:
- On the top of the northwestern hill investigated at Kveda Bzvani are the mortared masonry remains of what appears to be a fortified complex spread over a series of terraces sloping down from northwest to southeast. A stone staircase, reconstructed in the Soviet era, leads up the southeastern slope. At the top of the staircase, a meadow opens up to the northwest into a relatively level terrace, which is separated from a second and higher terrace by a moat-like dip running across the width of the meadow. The third and highest terrace occupies the largest area of the hilltop and contains the remains of several structures. To the east lie the low remains of two parallel walls oriented northwest-southeast, which appear to define an oblong room with an interior width of 5.80 m. The walls are built of limestone slabs set in white mortar. The western (upslope) wall is preserved to a height of 5 courses above the ground, while only the alignment of the downslope wall is visible, without clearly defined edges. The western wall is 0.45 m thick, 4.9 m in preserved length, and 0.50 m in preserved height. South of the walls is a round depression filled with stones. At the northwest extremity of the hilltop terrace is a possible cistern, 1.4 m by 1.5 m, fed by two sloping channels at its northeastern and southeastern corners. While there was no visible pottery on top of the hill, sherds are visible on the slopes of the hill just below the top (A047).

- Low on the eastern slope of the northwestern hill investigated at Kveda Bzvani is a rock-cut chamber that may have been used as a chapel. It is carved out of the soft bedrock of the hill, with visible pickmarks along the interior walls. The interior dimensions of the chamber are: 2.13 m wide, 2.75 m long, and 1.54 m high. It appears to have a roughly apsidal eastern end, suggesting its use as a small chapel, perhaps in association with the fortress on top of the hill (A048).

- Description:
- Six points of interest have been documented in the area of Ketchinara at approximately 50 masl. First is the findspot of a pithos burial dated to the 6th-4th centuries B.C., located in the backyard of one of the houses in the area, approximately 200 m north of the museum along a cobblestone road leading to Tchishura stream. Second is a landslide deposit containing Classical and Hellenistic pottery on the west (left) stream bank of the Tchishura by the village of Kveda Tsikhesulori. Third is the findspot of a pithos burial of a child dated to the Hellenistic period (4th-3rd centuries B.C.) located approximately 50 m uphill from the landslide deposit by Tchishura stream. The burial was discovered and excavated by Sulkhan Kharabadze (Kharabadze ND). Fourth is the findspot of a red-figure skyphos in the front yard of a house on the top of the hill at the end of the cobblestone road. The skyphos, which was found in 1958, is of Attic production of the Fat Boy Group and is now held in the Vani Archaeological Museum (inv. # 2:985-676). Sulkhan Kharabadze carried out excavations here three years ago and did not find a cultural layer. The elderly woman living in the house indicated that she had also found ceramics in the cornfield next to her house. Fifth is the findspot of a third pithos burial found in the woods behind the same house at the base of the hill south of the museum. The burial was found by a man who had worked in the Vani Museum as an electrician and who donated all of the artifacts to the museum. Sixth is a hoard of thirteen coins of the 11th century A.D. found approximately 50 m uphill from a house.

- Description:
- Using the statistical programming package R ( https://cran.r-project.org/), and JAGS (Just Another Gibbs Sampler, http://mcmc-jags.sourceforge.net/), we processed multiple estimates of the Laurentian Great Lakes water balance components -- over-lake precipitation, evaporation, lateral tributary runoff, connecting channel flows, and diversions -- feeding them into prior distributions (using data from 1950 through 1979), and likelihood functions. The Bayesian Network is coded in the BUGS language. Water balance computations assume that monthly change in storage for a given lake is the difference between beginning of month water levels surrounding each month. For example, the change in storage for June 2015 is the difference between the beginning of month water level for July 2015 and that for June 2015., More details on the model can be found in the following summary report for the International Watersheds Initiative of the International Joint Commission, where the model was used to generate a new water balance historical record from 1950 through 2015: https://www.glerl.noaa.gov/pubs/fulltext/2018/20180021.pdf. - This dataset contains experimental measurements of a flat-plate airfoil passing through a large-amplitude transverse gust. The dataset contains an ensemble of of the airfoil-gust encounter to account for variability in the gust profile, and each realization contains time-resolved force measurements and planar PIV velocity fields. All data are stored within hdf5 files, and a Matlab script showing how the data can be read and manipulated is provided. Please see the ‘airfoilEXP_README.pdf’ file for more information. We recommend using the ‘airfoilEXP_example.zip’ file as an entry point to the dataset. and The dataset is part of “A database for reduced-complexity modeling of fluid flows” (see references below) and is intended to aid in the conception, training, demonstration, evaluation, and comparison of reduced-complexity models for fluid mechanics. The paper introduces the flow setup and computational methods, describes the available data, and provides an example of how these data can be used for reduced-complexity modeling. Users of these data should cite the papers listed below.

- Description:
- Generation of C2+ compounds using sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water provides a promising path for carbon neutrality. The exploration of a catalyst to break the bottleneck of C-C coupling, for constructing a rational artificial photosynthesis integrated device, is at the core. Herein, based on operando spectroscopy measurements, theoretical calculations, and feedstock experiments, it is discovered that gold, in conjunction with iridium, can catalyze the reduction of CO2, achieving C-C coupling by insertion of CO2 into -CH3. Owing to a combination of optoelectronic and catalytic properties, the assembly of AuIr with InGaN nanowires on silicon (AuIr@InGaN NWs/Si) enables the achievement of a C2H6 activity of 58.8 mmol‧g-1‧h-1 with a turnover number of 54,595 over 60 hours. A light-to-fuels efficiency of ~0.59% for solar fuels production from CO2 and H2O is achieved without any other energy inputs. This work provides a carbon-negative path for producing higher order C compounds.

- This dataset contains data from direct numerical simulations of two-dimensional stationary and pitching flat-plate airfoils at Reynolds number 100. The dataset contains time-resolved snapshots of the velocity field, lift and drag coefficients, and airfoil kinematics spanning 40-100 convective time units. Cases include a stationary airfoil and eight different pitching frequencies. All data are stored within hdf5 files, and a Matlab script showing how the data can be read and manipulated is provided. Please see the ‘airfoilDNS_README.pdf’ file for more information. We recommend using the ‘airfoilDNS_example.zip’ file as an entry point to the dataset. and The dataset is part of “A database for reduced-complexity modeling of fluid flows” (see references below) and is intended to aid in the conception, training, demonstration, evaluation, and comparison of reduced-complexity models for fluid mechanics. The paper introduces the flow setup and computational methods, describes the available data, and provides an example of how these data can be used for reduced-complexity modeling. - Description:
- A growing body of work has linked key biological activities to the mechanical properties of cellular membranes, and as a means of identification. Here, we present a computational approach to simulate and compare the vibrational spectra in the low-THz region for mammalian and bacterial membranes, investigating the effect of membrane asymmetry and composition, as well as the conserved frequencies of a specific cell. We find that asymmetry does not impact the vibrational spectra, and the impact of sterols depends on the mobility of the components of the membrane. We demonstrate that vibrational spectra can be used to distinguish between membranes and, therefore, could be used in identification of different organisms. The method presented, here, can be immediately extended to other biological structures (e.g., amyloid fibers, polysaccharides, and protein-ligand structures) in order to fingerprint and understand vibrations of numerous biologically-relevant nanoscale structures.

Lu-177 DOTATATE Anonymized Patient Datasets
User Collection- Creator:
- Dewaraja, Yuni K and Van, Benjamin J
- Description:
- This collection is comprised of a number of works that collectively represent the imaging studies and information necessary for dosimetric analysis of a patient treated with Lutathera. All works may be used as standalone datasets or in conjunction with the others in this collection depending on the analysis performed. Files are stored using the DICOM standard widely accepted for storage and transmission of medical images and related information. All patient private information has been anonymized using MIM commercial software (MIM Software Inc.). Data from 2 patients, referred to as patient 4 and patient 6, has been provided in this collection and is divided among 6 works as outlined below:, 1) Pre-Therapy Diagnostic Images. Description: Patient diagnostic scans performed prior to Lutathera treatment. Used for identifying lesions and measuring progression. Note that the date of the baseline scan may be several months before the Lutathera treatment and changes in the anatomy are possible. Files: (1) Ga68 Dotatate PET/CT, Either: (1) MRI, (1) standalone diagnostic CT, 2) Planar Whole Body Scans. Description: Planar whole body Lu-177 scans taken at 4 time points within a week after treatment. Two views (Anterior and Posterior) and 3 energy windows (one main window at 208 keV and 2 adjacent scatter windows) are available for each time point. The units of this image is counts. Energy window information, acquisition data/time and duration can be found in DICOM header. Files: (6) individual images at each time point (24 total images per patient) , 3) SPECT/CT Scans. Description: Lu-177 SPECT/CT scans at 4 time points within a week after treatment (same time points as the planar scans). Images were acquired on a Siemens Intevo system and reconstructed using xSPECT Quant. The units of this image is Bq/mL. Information on the reconstruction, acquisition date/time, duration, Lu-177 administration time and activity can be found in the DICOM header. Files: (1) Folder with reconstructed SPECT slices per time point (4 folders total per patient), (1) Folder containing co-registered CT slices per time point (4 folders total per patient), 4) Lesion and Organ Volumes of Interest. Description: DICOM RT structure files containing organ and lesion volumes of interest (VOI) that were defined on the CT of the scan1 SPECT/CT in 3). Organs were defined using semi-automatic tools (atlas based and CNN-based) while lesions were defined manually by a radiologist guided by baseline scans. Only lesions >2 cc were defined. Files: (1) File containing organ contours, (1) File containing lesion contours, 5) Time Integrated Activity Maps. Description: A DICOM file containing the time-integrated activity map over all 4 time points within a week after treatment. This combines the SPECT/CT scans provided in 3) into a single integrated activity map. This map was generated via the MIM MRT Dosimetry package: The 4 time points were registered to the reference SPECT scan (time point 1) using a contour intensity based SPECT alignment and the voxel-level time-activity data was fit using exponential functions. Voxel-level integration was performed to generate the TIA map. The units of this image is Bq/mL * sec. Files: (1) Folder with Time-integrated activity image per patient, and 6) Projection Data and CT based Attenuation Coefficient Maps. Description: SPECT projection data for each of the 4 Lutathera scans taken within a week after treatment is provided in 3 forms: unaltered, Siemens [Reformatted], and Siemens [Advanced]. The difference between the Projections and the [Advanced] Projections is that the [Advanced] consists of uncorrected raw projection data and the other the corrected projection data (e.g. camera uniformity corrections). The [Advanced] projections are used in xSPECT reconstruction (where all corrections are done during the reconstruction), while the other is used in Flash 3D reconstruction. CT-based attenuation coefficient maps (mumaps) are provided for each of the 4 scans taken within a week after treatment. Two methods are provided for each mumap: xSPECT and F3D as the matrix size is different for the 2 cases (256 x 256 for xSPECT and 128 x 128 for Flash3D). Files: (3) Folders containing raw SPECT projections, (2) Folders containing CT attenuation coefficient maps (mumaps)
